How to Replace a ClearRay XL UV Bulb?

Turn off your spa. You do not need to drain your spa for a simple bulb replacement. However, if you need to replace the quartz housing or the complete system, it is imperative that you fully drain your spa and your piping.
Remove the 4 screws of the ClearRay system's protective cover
Remove the cover and the sealing gasket from the enclosure to access the bulb housing and its connector

Disconnect the bulb's connection plug
Gently remove the bulb from the quartz housing (3)
Replace the bulb with your 6472-857 replacement bulb by gently inserting it into the housing
(Use protective gloves to avoid direct contact with the bulb with your skin)
Simply reconnect the connection plug to the ClearRay system
