Description

How the HSP1500 model hydromassage pump works

The HSP1500 spa pump is a massage pump. It is used to power the massage circuit. When the electric motor is running, it activates its impeller located in the Wet End , which in turn creates flow. Pressurized water comes out through the massage nozzles to provide you with a pleasant hydrotherapy experience.
Do not confuse with a filtration pump (or circulation pump) which it serves avoid stagnation of water and filter all its impurities. Generally less powerful than a massage pump.

The specifics of the HSP series spa pump

This massage pump is silent and has very low vibration while allowing a flow rate of 670 L / min . With its MEC80 motor , it releases a power of 1500W (or 2.0 HP) . Its voltage oscillates between 220 and 240V (50Hz) for a total weight of 13.4Kg . A 25 µF capacitor allows to start it (included with the pump)

The single speed HSP1500 is protected against dust and any other microscopic residue. Its IPX5 standard provides protection against water jets with a flow rate of 12.5 L / min.
Its classification F with an anodized motor body , allows it to be insulated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40 ° C.
(Maximum admissible heating: 105 K - Thermal reserve: + 10K)
